How commission affects what you read here. It does not decide what goes on the page. Products with no commission attached are still listed when they deserve to be, and are marked “No affiliate link – listed on merit”. Every comparison includes at least two alternatives, including ones we earn nothing from. Drawbacks are stated in the same plain language as benefits.
What commission does affect: which brands we research first. We research brands that run affiliate programmes before brands that do not, simply because that is what pays for the research. You should know that.
